A new investigation by Global Witness has found that conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) are infiltrating the supply chains of major technology companies, including Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, and Amazon. The minerals, specifically coltan, are allegedly linked to the M23 rebel movement and are being smuggled through Rwanda.
