About
Causal market intelligence
Market Ontology maps live events (macro releases, central bank policy, geopolitical escalation, legislation and corporate actions) to the assets, sectors, valuation assumptions and trade structures they actually move. The goal is a readable impact path, not another headline feed.
What the platform does
Every event is parsed into a structured record: what happened, which transmission channel it travels through, which nodes in the macro graph it touches, and which instruments sit at the end of that chain. Deterministic computation handles the measurable parts: indicator levels, spreads, regime classification. Language models are used only to synthesise the reasoning around data that already exists.
Where a value cannot be sourced from a live provider, the platform says so rather than filling the gap. Nothing displayed is simulated.
How events reach assets
The transmission model runs in stages: a physical or policy shock changes a macro node (rates, inflation expectations, the dollar, credit spreads, energy), that node change propagates through the causal graph, and the graph resolves to exposed tickers and asset classes with a stated direction and rationale. Each step is inspectable, so a conclusion can be traced back to the indicator that produced it.
Reference material for the underlying series and terminology lives in the indicators library and the glossary.
Who it is for
The platform is built for people who need the impact path immediately: discretionary and systematic investors, macro and strategy research teams, risk functions, and analysts covering cross-asset or event-driven mandates. The interface is a terminal, optimised for density and speed rather than presentation.
Data and methodology
Market data, economic series, filings, trade flows and official releases are pulled from licensed and public institutional sources and cached server-side. Computation that can be made deterministic is deterministic; model output is confined to explanation and structuring, and is scored against realised data over time.
Longer explanations of the methods and indicator definitions are published in Learn.
