The research workflow, run end to end on a live event

This is not a feature list. Below is a research run as the platform produced it: the sources it read, the claims it extracted with citation spans, the entities it resolved, the causal mechanism it wrote, the assets that mechanism reaches, the valuation assumptions it changed, and the decision record left behind. Pick a different run to see the same seven stages on another event.

Select a run

1 · Sources retrieved

  • [1]Acquiring LivePerson could significantly expand SoundHound's customer base and product offerings in conversational AI for customer service.
  • [2]Integration challenges and costs are common in M&A, potentially impacting short-to-medium term profitability.
  • [3]The transaction structure (stock vs. cash) and any associated debt or equity issuance will affect SOUN's capital structure and share count.
  • [4]Regulatory and shareholder approvals introduce uncertainty and potential delays.

2 · Claims and citation

Direct acquisition of a public company, potential for synergy realization, integration costs, and dilution.

Every material claim in a run carries a citation span back to the source text. Claims that cannot be attributed are held out of the record rather than smoothed into the narrative.

SoundHound AI, Inc.: mechanism recorded, direction mixed, horizon 3-12m, confidence +85%. The record is timestamped and reviewable, so the reason a position was taken is legible later even when the outcome disagrees with it.

Methodology

Retrieval. Each run reads primary filings, official statements, and market data before any narrative is produced. A run that retrieves nothing primary is marked incomplete rather than completed on secondary coverage alone.

Attribution. Material claims are bound to citation spans. Coverage below eighty percent holds the run out of the public record entirely.

Mechanism. A mechanism must contain at least two explicit steps from event to asset. One-step assertions of the form "event is bullish for X" are rejected by the publication gate.

Review. Runs carry a reviewer, an as-of time, and a methodology version. Product records shown here are the same records subscribers see; nothing on this page is written for the page.
